Ohio’s TechCred Program gives employers the chance to upskill current and future employees in today’s tech-infused economy. Employers who submit successful applications will be reimbursed up to $2,000 per credential when current or prospective employees complete eligible technology-focused credentials.

Developed by the Ohio Department of Development, TechCred helps Ohioans learn new skills and helps employers build a stronger workforce with the skills needed in a technology-infused economy. These technology-focused credentials take a year or less to complete and prepare current and future employees for the technology jobs Ohio employers need. Many of these trainings can be completed online!

What TechCred Ohio Students Say

I found this class very informative, and the instructor’s ability to relate to the class and teach and not just lecture is invaluable.

I would recommend Innovation Garage to anyone that is looking to expand their learning.

Product Design Engineer
Global Motor Manufacturer

The training generated a lot of enthusiasm around new product development in a wide group of people. Several new product ideas and product improvements were generated that will be further developed. This should lead to a few new products in the development pipeline.

Design Research Director
Biotechnology Company

I’ve seen a lot of the content throughout my career but in something akin to seeds scattered across a field. It was great to see it as a cohesive whole, i.e., nice to see the forest along with the trees.
